Film Clayton has developed solid relationships with numerous property owners throughout Clayton County, Georgia. To speed the time it takes to clear your project with property owners, all projects shooting in Clayton County, Georgia—both private property and county-owned–are strongly encouraged to register with Film Clayton. We have found that a familiar contact helps confirm to property owners that you are a legitimate business and instills a level of comfort on both sides.

Film Clayton takes the safety of your crew and our community very seriously. Please adhere to the following policies for scenes that involve pyrotechnics or firearms. There will be no exceptions to these procedures. Please note that this includes prop firearms.
Special Effects Involving Pyrotechnics
During the filming of all scenes involving any pyrotechnics, both real and simulated, your project must be permitted through our local fire department and a member of our fire department staff must be on-hand. Please contact our office at 770-477-4450 to make arrangements.
For any scenes, still or moving, that involve firearms (both real and prop), you must file a permit with our local law enforcement agency. Please contact our office at 770-477-4450 to make arrangements.
NOTE: This form does not grant authorization to film. It merely allows us to evaluate the permissions needed to film on location within Clayton County, Georgia. You will be notified by a staff member once your registration has been reviewed.
